Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Her mother is English, half Spanish. The parents of her are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The father of her mother, who is Argentinean of Scottish as well as English descent is also her mother. She is Spanish with English roots. The four siblings of Taylor-Joy are from her father's previous marriage. The family was initially of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria at the age of 6 when Taylor-Joy was born. Taylor Joy claims that her move to England was very traumatic. Taylor Joy was unable to master English and was hoping to move back to Argentina. Hill House, a school within the same district as Northlands was required to enroll her. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in plays. She quit high school at 16 to focus on her acting profession. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to become an actress and her goals were realized when she was offered an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
