Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician and composer. Harry Styles has been credited as composing songs for The One Direction band. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1, 1994. He is the father of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, in which he started his own band, composed of 3 schoolmates, which he called the White Eskimo. The band's outstanding performances enabled them to take home in the Battle of Bands 2009. The musician always had an interest in music but was enthused to be the next lawyer or physical therapist. While working in the city's pastry shop Harry Styles managed to provide for his family. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010 and performed Is not She Lovely, a Stevie Wonder song. He was selected. This meant that his group had to be split. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge that suggested Harry Styles to be part a future group called One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group, which was formed in the year 2010. The group performed hits such as My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. This made the group one of the potential winners for the award. The group was placed in third place after Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle, who were the winners. Harry Styles' group didn't place, but Cowell still paid two million dollars to One Direction for them to make a deal with Syco.
