Lisa Edelstein, an American actor best well-known for House, a Fox medical drama series. After being raised by Jewish conservatives in Wayne, New York City was her destination to study the theater at Tisch. However, very quickly she was active in the club scene, and was able to make enough headlines to be seen by the media and simultaneously, she became aware of the devastating effect of AIDS. She then used her background and fame and her own experience to create and host a television show titled Positive Me. Soon after, she was offered a job at MTV, hosting Awake in the Wild Side. Once the program was over the actress went on to do film as well as TV productions. Her first job was in smaller roles, and then became established gradually as an actor.
